GOOD NEWS: giant panda, rhino and tiger

In 2016 there was a first light recovery of the giant panda.
The number of giant pandas in the wild increased by 16% in the last three years.
There are now 1,864 giant pandas in the wild. The status of the animals has therefore changed to “vulnerable”
instead of “threatened”.
It is also getting better with the rhino. Last summer, 645 rhinos were counted in Nepal, which is more than has ever been counted before.
In addition, for the first time in a hundred years, the number of tigers in the wild has risen.
